About Me

I am a second-year DPhil student in the Torr Vision Group at the University of Oxford, supervised by Dr. Adel Bibi and Prof. Philip Torr. My research is generously funded by Epic Games. Before Oxford, I received my B.Eng. in Computer Science and Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, where I was advised by Prof. Baoyuan Wu. I also spent a wonderful year as a visiting student at Oxford in 2023–2024, working closely with Dr. Qian Xie. My research interests lie broadly in AI safety and building AI scientists.

  • [Jan. 2026] I receive a research grant of ~ £10,000 from Christ Church College together with Dr. Jialin Yu to investigate the safety of voice agents.
  • [Oct. 2025] I start my DPhil in Engineering Science at TVG.
  • [Jun. 2025] I receive a one-year scholarship from SUISF.
  • [May. 2025] I graduated from CUHK-Shenzhen with GPA ranking 2%.
  • [Jan. 2025] I receive AAAI 2025 Student Scholarship ($2000) to attend AAAI 2025.
  • [Dec. 2024] Our paper about benchmarking video editing models is accepted to AAAI 2025.
